Patti Cook is the Broker and joint founder of Freshwater Properties.
Patti has been a lifelong resident of the Lakewood community and enjoys living and working in Lake Odessa! She has a passion for volunteering and assisting with community events. Patti is a member of the Lake Odessa Wellhead Protection Team. Patti’s uplifting attitude helps her team and clients bring their own positive energy into each unique experience. She is dedicated to working toward her team and clients’ best interests, giving them reassurance and faith that together they can (and will) overcome any and all challenges. With over 16 years of experience in real estate, Patti strives to create long term relationships based on trust, support and the ultimate in customer service.

The agency, Freshwater Properties, was established in 2008 and is a premier Real Estate company that is embedded in the quaint town of Lake Odessa. Freshwater Properties services Michigan, lake-shore to lake-shore, specializing in lakefront property. Patti leads a team of six outstanding agents that share the same passion for Real Estate.

Patti received her Real Estate license in 2002, then went on to acquire her Broker’s license in 2012 from Holloway’s Real Estate Institute in Lansing. She completed the Master of Brokerage Principles in 2018, administered by the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors in Grand Rapids, where she is a member.

Tawni Makley, a member of the Freshwater Properties team, brings boundless enthusiasm and energy to her role. She possesses an innate understanding and a keen awareness of people's needs and concerns during the Real Estate process. It is evident that Tawni loves her profession! She is trustworthy, well organized and is passionate about putting her clients first.
Tawni grew up in Woodland and graduated from Lakewood high school. She continues to reside in the Lakewood school district and has extensive knowledge in the community. Her deep roots date back to the early 19th century!
Tawni received her real estate license from Holloway's Real Estate Institute in Lansing, Michigan. She is a member of the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors.
Tawni has developed a strong customer base already and her early success only solidifies her great future in the business. Her aspiration is to make Real Estate her lifelong ambition!

Racheal and her husband are life-long residents of Lake Odessa! They raised their three children here and now two of them are raising their families within the Lakewood Community as well. Their youngest and her family reside in Alabama.
